We’re thrilled to share some exciting news. Rei Cosmetics is officially moving into a fulfillment center! From now on, your orders will be picked, packed, and shipped with care from a dedicated facility.
You might be wondering: Wait... where were the products before?
Well, like many small eCommerce businesses, everything ran out of our living room. Every product, every box, every shipping label - it all happened right in the heart of our home.
Having everything close by was great for control and convenience, but eventually, the stacks of inventory started taking over our space (and our sanity). Family members began to gently remind us that the living room was no longer livable. Shipping daily orders also became tricky, especially when we needed to travel or take time off. We realized it was time to grow, and that meant finding a fulfillment partner we could trust to care for our products like we do.
As we searched for third-party logistics partners (3PLs, for those in the industry), we learned a lot, and not all of it was reassuring. We heard about fulfillment centers with poor customer service, outdated systems, lost inventory, and even some that went bankrupt without returning products. We knew we needed more than just a warehouse; we needed a true partner who understood the needs of a small business, especially one with Japanese-language products and a growing SKU list.
After asking around, several trusted contacts recommended Highline Commerce, especially for New York-based small businesses like ours. After a few conversations and a visit to their fulfillment center at Industry City (where Japan Village is conveniently located), we knew we had found the right fit.
As we make this transition, we want to say a heartfelt thank you:
