Celebrating Art & Beauty: Rei Cosmetics x nomoco

At Rei Cosmetics, we believe beauty isn’t just about products, but also about the creativity, culture, and joy we share. That’s why we love collaborating with Japanese female artists for our limited-edition Thank You Cards, turning each order into a little piece of art.

Our latest collaboration features the incredibly talented nomoco, whose delicate and expressive works are brought to life through ink and printmaking.

About nomoco

Born in Fukuoka, Japan, nomoco’s artistic journey took her from Osaka University of Arts to London College of Communication and Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. Her work has been showcased around the world in both solo and group exhibitions, earning her numerous accolades, including the UKLA Book Award for Once Upon A Raindrop and recognition at the World Illustration Awards.

Her client list is as impressive as her portfolio, spanning Harper Collins, Penguin Books, The Guardian, Marc Jacobs, Audi, Moschino, and The New York Times.

The Story Behind Spring Blooming

The featured artwork, Spring Blooming, depicts a joyful gathering of women, intertwined like petals in full bloom. Originally created for the opening page of “The Happiness Handbook” in Health magazine, the piece captures the warmth and vibrancy of women’s connections. It was also shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2021.

A Gift of Joy

When we first saw Spring Blooming, we knew it reflected the kind of joy we hope to share through J-Beauty. Whether you’re exploring makeup, haircare, or skincare, our ultimate goal is to bring a sense of happiness from within.

As our way of saying thank you, every order from reicosmetics.com will include this exclusive Thank You Card, while supplies last. We hope each time you see the card, you’re reminded that beauty is as much about joy as it is about self-expression.
